Project Assistant
Position Summary
Pacific West Construction and Maintenance is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Assistant to support our project management team on active construction and maintenance projects. This role is ideal for someone who’s organized, proactive, and interested in growing within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Project Managers with day-to-day administrative and project coordination tasks
Track submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and project documentation
Help maintain project schedules, logs, and reports
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants as needed
Support procurement, change orders, and project closeout documentation
Maintain well-organized digital and physical project files
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or administrative support (preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); construction software experience is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and reliability
Reliable transportation (PWCM pays for fuel)
